first update after nearly a month of hibernation...yay! so i walk outside today to find that one of the tires on my truck is flat and lifeless. having no time to change the tire immediately, i head off to school and later on i summoned the help of mr mathew nielsen. i thought with two people this tire exchange would be quick and easy, but as it turns out toyota has the most confusing and idiotic system for holding the spare tire securely on the bottom of the truck bed. so after toiling for an hour or so we finally figured it out and threw on the spare. as we started to drive away i suddenly notice that my truck is making a horrible scraping noise and that the front end is slightly wabling as i drive. so about an hour and a half later the tow truck shows up and my precious was taken to the local toyota dealership. no prognosis yet... worried i am... but anywho i took this picture of matt as my truck was being towed away, enjoy...
